In response to the global coronavirus outbreak, St Peter’s School, York has implemented a strict visitor policy to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the whole school community. Following instructions from the government, the school site will be closed to pupils (apart from children of key workers) from the end of the day on Friday 20 March with no indication given of when that situation will change. We ask that all non-essential visitors also stay away from the school at this time. If your visit is essential, please read our visitor policy before you visit the school.

Clifton School and Nursery

Year 3

StPeters June17 69

In Year 3, we help pupils to build on all the abilities they have developed throughout their time at our school, with the aim of preparing them for life and education beyond Clifton.

Focusing on the National Curriculum through exciting themes and texts, such as World War II or Peter Pan, English and Maths are once again key priorities, complemented by Art, Geography, History and more.

As the most senior children at Clifton, Year 3s are also proud to represent the school in inter-school sports tournaments, helping them to develop crucial physical and social skills.

Year 3 may be the final chapter of the Clifton story, but with the now-familiar St Olave’s just around the corner, the adventure has only really started.
