Clifton raise £5,815 for Small Steps Project
Children at Clifton School and Nursery have raised a fantastic £5,815.07 for the Small Steps Project over the last academic year.
Big fundraising events included the Great Clifton Olympic Bake Off, in which children and parents worked together on sport-themed treats, and the Clifton Christmas Market, where children sold their own hand-crafted festive gifts to raise over £1,700.
The funds raised will provide shoes, medical aid and educational opportunities for children around the world who are living on rubbish dumps.
Antonia Clarke, Deputy Head at Clifton School & Nursery, said: “To have raised such a terrific amount speaks volumes about the compassion and the determination of the children to help those in need, and we’re excited to see how this money changes lives all over the world. A big well done to the children for their efforts and a big thank you to everybody who contributed to this total.”
