St Peter's School
Old Peterite Day (OP Day) took place on Saturday 31 August 2019.
The day was a great opportunity to come and visit the school, enjoy tours, the Chapel service and the chance to watch the annual OP V School sports matches, whilst enjoying refreshments and the opportunity to catch up with friends. We also had a play area for children, including a bouncy castle, which they enjoyed. Despite a short sharp shower of rain the catering team quickly moved the refreshments to the pavilion and the the BBQ, continued to provide a delightful seclection of food and the bar offering the traditional beer and wine with the new additon of jugs of pimms!
OP Day is open to the whole School Community and is a great way to bring together Old Peterites, their families, Parents, Old Peterite Parents, former staff and staff from the School.
We were delighted to have two new events for OP Day 2019. The day began with the opportunity for a fun family swim in the School pool. Then at 10am the it was off down to the river for a bacon sandwich, as we re-introduced the School V OP Boat Race!
The day brought together the 'Class of 1989' and the'Class of 1999' who toured the School, joined in the sports activities and enjoyed the BBQ. The 'Class of 1989' rounded off the day with a buffet in the 'EX' which allowed plenty of time to remember the 'good old days'.
There was an display from our Archives department and the sale of OP Merchandise.
The day ended with the presentation of medals to all and the trophy went to the School for the 6th Year!

We hope you will join us next year on 5 September 2020, when we invite everyone back to do it at all over again.
