The Rise 100 celebration
We were delighted to be joined by Old Peterites, parents, current and former staff and pupils of The Rise on Sunday 13 May to celebrate the centenary of the House.

Old Peterites travelled from near and far, all over the UK and even all the way from New Zealand, to join us for this very special occasion.

Guests enjoyed canapes and drinks on the lawn, tours of the house and historic displays from the archives and numerous memories and reminiscences kindly submitted by The Rise community.

The occasion was marked with the planting of 'The Rise Rose' by our oldest Risite in attendance Ian Warrington (1945 - 50) and our youngest, Monica. The Rise cake, in the shape of the House was cut by Charlotte, who celebrated her birthday on the same day.

Thank you to all who attended.

Coming soon...we will shortly be adding memories and reminiscences sent to us especially for this event
