Old Peterite shares his travelling tales

Ed Gill talking to the Sixth Form
Old Peterite Ed Gill (Clifton 1993-2001), travelled back to School on 5 February 2018 to give his talk “Where next Barney?” to the Sixth Form.

Ed and his motorbike Barney travelled through over twenty countries on his trip from London to Sydney. He hoped to cover the journey in six months, but in the end it stretched to nearly a year.

Ed gave a great insight into travelling, the excitement of meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds and the highs and lows of his trip. Ed wanted to convey to the pupils how the world of work can open up many opportunities, including travel.
