In response to the global coronavirus outbreak, St Peter’s School, York has implemented a strict visitor policy to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the whole school community. Following instructions from the government, the school site will be closed to pupils (apart from children of key workers) from the end of the day on Friday 20 March with no indication given of when that situation will change. We ask that all non-essential visitors also stay away from the school at this time. If your visit is essential, please read our visitor policy before you visit the school.

Old Peterites meet in Tikli Bottom

OPs in India

We’re proud to have an Old Peterite community that spans the globe, with former pupils venturing from Yorkshire as far afield as New Zealand, South Africa, Chile – and a rather obscure location in India.

Lorna Wood (Dronfield 1986) lives in New Delhi and was pleased to tell us about a chance meeting with Charles Marshall (Grove 1983) in Tikli Bottom, a few hours south of the capital. Charles has been on a visit to India volunteering with a group of Scouts, helping to build a classroom for a local school.

It's always a pleasure to hear from Old Peterites, especially those who we don’t get to see very often. If you’d like to keep us updated with what you’re up to, you can do so here.
