St Peter's 13-18
In conjunction with Remembrance Day on 11 November, tutor groups were invited to submit designs to create a memorial that would be displayed each year to commemorate those 120 Old Peterites who gave their lives for our country.
A panel met to review the designs submitted, including; Jeremy Walker, Head Master, Harry Gration OP President, Sal Sleigh and Tom Smith from CCF, John Armstrong, Archivist and Danielle Staniforth, Head of Design and Technology.

3rd Place - Third Form - Hope:
Pupils Harry Hughes, Josh Petty and Iris Roebuck were very worthy contenders with their poppy backed cross design, engraved with the names of the Old Peterites that lost their lives in service of their country.
2nd Place - Fifth Form - School:
Eliza Allison and Charlotte Deniz came up with a shield design that feature the iconic 'Tommy' silhouette, alongside the school motto and our cross keys motif.
1st Place - Upper Sixth - Dronfield:
Hannah Costin and Hope Simpson impressed with their design for twelve silhouettes that will celebrate the diversity of those individuals that we remember. Those twelve pieces of art will be displayed across the campus in the run up to 11 November each year, which alongside our school community will then be gathered in the horseshoe for the Remembrance Service.
Hannah and Hope's design will now be further developed and constructed, to be unveiled in November next year. Well done to all pupils who put designs forward.
