Dr Nigel Durham

Consultant Cardiologist at York Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust for 12 years, with 5 years managerial experience as Clinical Director of Acute and General Internal Medicine.

Trustee of York Sports Club and Chairman of York Cricket Club for over 10 years. Current parent and Old Peterite.

Business consultant working with companies on strategy and growth. Executive coach and trainer/facilitator. Previously 14 years leading and developing York Science Park supporting entrepreneurial science & tech companies. Trustee, director and treasurer for various York based charities and organisations.

Dean Jonathan Frost

Member of the Education Committee.

Jonathan is Dean of York. Before moving to York he was Suffragan Bishop of Southampton in the Diocese of Winchester. In this context, he was Chair of a joint Diocesan Board of Education with the Diocese of Portsmouth, (where he was also an Honorary Assistant Bishop), leading on governance and support for 160 Church Schools. He has served on the Chapter of Guildford Cathedral, as a university chaplain and for nine years as a parish priest. While in Guildford he also taught Christian doctrine on the Diocesan Ministry Course.

Significant experience of academic and pastoral leadership, and outdoor education, in HMC schools. Formerly worked in HE as a junior lecturer and Earth scientist.

Educational Consultant specialising in the appraisal of Heads and their SMT. Former ISI Inspector, former IAPS History adviser, former Governor of Mill Hill School.

Fellow of the Chartered Securities Industry, working in investment management for over 25 years with Capel-Cure Sharp, heading the Barclays Wealth then Brewin Dolphin York offices; area of expertise include work for individuals, trusts and charities. Acts as a Trustee of several charities and is a York guild member. Old Peterite & former parent.
