This year’s A Level results mark a truly exceptional achievement for St Peter’s School, with a record number of A* grades and outstanding outcomes across our largest ever Upper Sixth cohort. The results reflect not only the academic ambition, dedication and resilience of our pupils, but also their remarkable ability to excel beyond the classroom. Alongside their studies, many balanced demanding commitments in sport, music, drama, leadership, volunteering and other co-curricular pursuits, embodying the well-rounded education at the heart of a St Peter’s education. As we celebrate these impressive results, we also recognise the individual journeys, successes and contributions that have made this such a memorable year for the School community.
Rosanna joined us in Sixth Form and achieved A*A*A and will be attending Durham University to study Law. Alongside her studies, Rosanna has been a keen debater and has competed with the U18s Women's Boxing Team.
Eve was thrilled with her A*AA and will be going to Durham to study ancient history.
Isabelle has achieved A*A*A*A* and will be studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge.
Gabriel has received A*A*A* and will be studying Economics at the University of Warwick. Gabriel has been a keen debater, representing his House and the School in competitions.
Emily achieved A*A*A* and will be joining the University of Oxford to study History of Art. Emily also achieved the best in school for her EPQ based on History of Art. Emily was a national finalist in the National Gallery's Articulation competition, where she spoke compellingly on performance art.
Matthew got A*A*A* and will be joining the University of Warwick to study Economics.
Oli, an impressive musician and one of our Head Choristers this year and keen sportsman Ollie will be going to Oxbridge to further their studies with courses in languages. Oli will be studying Linguistics at Cambridge after receiving A*A*AA and Ollie will be studying History and Modern Languages at Cambridge following his results of AAA. Of our 4 German A Level students, all will be continuing to study German as part of their course at university.
Cameron will also be studying Medicine at the University of Oxford after receiving A*A*A*. Beth and Tom are also going to study Medicine at Liverpool and King's College London.
Joss has boarded at St Peter’s since Year 9, and this year flourished as Deputy Head Boy. He received A*A*A*A*A and will be continuing his studies at Imperial Collage London doing Mechanical Engineering. Joseph is also a boarder in The Manor and has received A*A*A*A*A*. He will be studying Chemical Engineering at Imperial Collage London.
Henry received A*AB and will be studying BSc Geography with a year abroad in France at Bristol University.
Their Housemates from The Manor have also seen incredible results, with Tom receiving A*A*A*A* to study Medicine at King’s College London. Head of Manor House Cormac is heading to start on a Finance Apprenticeship in Edinburgh.
Students have chosen a variety of pathways, with courses including AI, engineering, agriculture and film studies showing the many different skills and talents of this cohort.
Danny will be studying chemical engineering at the University of Edinburgh after receiving A*A*A*A*. He has been Head of Orchestra, playing piano, guitar and double bass alongside his studies.
Anton will be studying Electronic and Information Engineering at Imperial College London after his impressive results of A*AAA.
Sylvia joined St Peter’s as a cathedral chorister and has continued to flourish within the Music Department. Alongside her A Level studies, she has achieved remarkable success in our music competitions, attained an ARSM Diploma in Singing and Grade 7 Violin, and delivered a memorable performance in this year’s production of Guys and Dolls. Sylvia must be delighted with her outstanding A Level results of A*AAA. She will now continue to pursue her passion for music at Durham University.
Lewis is a regular on the debating team and a dedicated School Monitor. He has received A*A*AA and will study philosophy and Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh.
Taras will be studying physics at Imperial College London after receiving A*A*A*A.
Heads of School Emily and Alex received impressive results of A*A*B and A*AA . They will both be continuing their studies at Durham University, studying Anthropology and Combined Honours in Social Sciences respectively. Alex managed his studies whilst playing regularly for Yorkshire County Cricket Academy. He was also the school's Cricket Captain, and Vice Rugby Captain.
Ethan has been awarded two scholarships for Indiana University where he'll study Computer Science and AI, after his impressive results of A*AA. Tobiah will be joining University of Hong Kong with his A*AA results. Hockey Captain Eleanor has achieved straight As to secure her place at Bristol to study Chemistry and Computing.
Vice Boat Club Captain Tristan has balanced his rowing commitments with his studies to achieve straight As ahead of taking up a place at Nottingham to study Aerospace Engineering at Nottingham.
