Both St Olave’s U12A and U12B teams claimed silverware at the York and District Netball Tournament this weekend.
Teams from across the region came to St Olave’s for the annual competition, including All Saints, Bootham, Fulford, Huntington, Joseph Rowntree, Manor CE, Millthorpe and Queen Margaret's.
In their group competition, the St Olave's A team didn't drop a single point, and the B team matched that feat, as both won every match to earn the respective trophies.
Emma Brough, who coaches the girls, said: “One of the things we’re most proud of at St Olave’s is being able to offer everybody the chance to represent the school in competitive matches. The fact that both the A and B team won their tournaments shows a tremendous level of participation and dedication amongst the girls. A big well done to everybody who took part in this competition and represented their schools so well.”
