In response to the global coronavirus outbreak, St Peter’s School, York has implemented a strict visitor policy to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the whole school community. Following instructions from the government, the school site will be closed to pupils (apart from children of key workers) from the end of the day on Friday 20 March with no indication given of when that situation will change. Open Day 2018 Sessions

Pupils outside Queens

Due to the popularity of our Open Morning, we are offering two different sessions, from which we invite all visitors to choose.

Both sessions cover the same information and events, simply the order and timings are different, and so you are welcome to choose whichever session best meets your needs.

Session One (9am-11am)

Session one begins with a tour of the whole school, accompanied by one of our pupils, and ends with the opportunity to meet teachers and participate in a Q and A session with teachers and pupils from the school. Our incoming Head Master Jeremy Walker will also give a talk. 

Please arrive no earlier than 8.55am. Please arrive no later than 9.20pm.

Your tour will start shortly after you arrive.

Session Two (10.30am-12.15pm, followed by lunch in our dining room)

Session Two begins with the opportunity to meet teachers, followed by a Q and A session with teachers and pupils from the school. Our incoming Head Master Jeremy Walker will also give a talk. Following the panel discussion, you will tour the school in the company of one of our pupil guides. You are welcome to complete your visit with lunch in our dining room.

Please arrive between 10.15 and 11am.

The panel Q and A will start at 10.30am.


Parking will be available at the School, and you will be directed to the Memorial Hall Foyer for registration.
