In response to the global coronavirus outbreak, St Peter’s School, York has implemented a strict visitor policy to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the whole school community. Following instructions from the government, the school site will be closed to pupils (apart from children of key workers) from the end of the day on Friday 20 March with no indication given of when that situation will change. We ask that all non-essential visitors also stay away from the school at this time. If your visit is essential, please read our visitor policy before you visit the school.

Exeat weekends

Boarders in York 2017An exeat weekend is a weekend holiday away from school. At St Peter's we have three exeat weekends a year.

The boarding houses will be closed during exeat weekends, normally from 4pm on the Friday until 6pm on the Sunday.

For international pupils, it is the responsibility of the pupil’s Guardian to ensure accommodation arrangements are communicated to Houseparents in advance of an exeat weekend.

Please note that the UK Border Agency stipulates that all boarders’ holiday contact details must be submitted to the School before the start of each school holiday.
