St Peter’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF) had its Biennial Review.

On Tuesday 15th October, St Peter’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF) had its Biennial Review.

The purpose of the review is to obtain a senior officer's perspective of the morale and wellbeing of the contingent and to allow an opportunity for the school CCF to display its training achievements.

The Senior Officer nominated by 4th Infantry Brigade to conduct the Review was Colonel Nigel Rhodes who is the Brigade Deputy Commander.

On arrival the Colonel was met by Captain Paul Cooper who gave a 30 minute briefing on the CCF and then took lunch with the Headmaster and other CCF personalities.

The afternoon was in the form of a Section Competition.  4 Sections of mixed years conducted 4-stands consisting of:

Archery
Elite Command Tasks
Skill at Arms & Fieldcraft
First Aid.

The afternoon was rounded off with high tea where the Deputy Commander presented the winning Section with a trophy and carried out the following promotions:

Lance Corporal Henry Butters to Corporal
Lance Corporal Ed Roebuck to Corporal

Cadet George Smith to Lance Corporal
Cadet Rory Lange to Lance Corporal

The winning Section was:

A great afternoon was had by all and the Contingent should be congratulated for their hard work and professionalism.
