St Peter's School
Over the last few weeks, our 4th form pupils have painted a remarkable series of portraits and self-portraits inspired by the Russian artist Valery Koshlyakov. The pupils planned the compositions carefully, taking photographs and working together to consider the most striking angles. The portraits use a number of effects to create a sense of depth, and the pupils have applied the tone onto layered cardboard working from dark to light with washes of acrylic.
