Evensong service at St Paul’s Cathedral

Our Chapel Choir travelled down to London on Monday 2 March to sing an Evensong service at St Paul’s Cathedral. This is our fourth visit in the past ten years, and it is always a wonderful occasion. The choir coped well with the generous acoustic of the building and there was commendable ensemble and solo singing in the Fourth Service by Batten and the anthem I waited for the Lord by Mendelssohn. The clergy were very complimentary and we hope to be able to return to the cathedral in two years’ time.
