Boys' Hockey

IMG 3768Hockey is the major team sport played by boys in the Easter term. There are two games sessions in the Third and Fourth Form and three in the Fifth and Sixth Form with a fixture every Saturday and most Wednesdays of the term. The School plays on the Northern and Midland circuit playing all of the major hockey playing schools in the North East of England.

The School runs two senior teams with A and B and occasional c teams at U16, U15 and U14 age groups. We enter the National cups at U18 U16 and U14 age groups, and county at all age groups.  All teams are coached by experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff. Four specialist external coaches are employed on the programme.

The senior squad will tour Germany and Holland in 2018.
