The Evolution of Dance

Evolution of DanceTuesday 9 December 2014
Memorial Hall 7pm

For the last thirty years, the Science department at St Peter’s School has been giving a Christmas Lecture Demonstration to the pupils and staff of the school. This year, for the first time, we are going to be giving an evening performance of the lecture to visiting schools and the general public. The lecture is entitled ‘The Evolution of Dance’.

From the early interactions of fundamental particles creating the cosmos to the strange behaviour of dads at weddings, the universe has danced. We will investigate why and how this happens...with potentially explosive results.

For information on recent Christmas lectures, click here.

The lecture will be suitable for children aged 12 and above.
