St Peter's 13-18
The core of examined GCSE subjects, which all pupils study, comprises Mathematics, English, Science (taught individually as Biology, Physics and Chemistry), at least one Modern Foreign Language and Religious Studies. In addition, pupils must choose 3 further subjects.
The guiding principle for choosing option subjects should be enjoyment. Success will follow naturally from this.
Pupils also have lessons in PE and a general course called Horizons which explores
issues connected with but not limited to politics, ethics, moral values, citizenship, what it means to be happy and how to navigate the personal and societal challenges we meet in the modern world.
