St Peter's 13-18
Our Fifth Form pupils receiving their GCSE results this week should be incredibly proud of everything they have achieved, including their ability to respond to all the challenges of remote learning.
We have been overwhelmed by their maturity, resilience and whole-hearted commitment during what has been an unusual academic year.
Our inspirational teachers delivered an excellent remote learning programme during the summer term to ensure continuity of education for our Fifth Formers, including preparation for A Levels, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for the transition to Sixth Form life.
All pupils at St Peter’s have kept fully engaged with school life from home, leading charity initiatives and participating in virtual concerts, sports challenges, virtual debates, art competitions, a literature festival and much more.
We look forward to welcoming them back to St Peter’s School in September as they join the Lower Sixth, along with new starters from other schools.
Head Master, Jeremy Walker, said: “I am incredibly proud of our Fifth Form pupils, my talented colleagues and grateful for the outstanding support of our parents. Their successes today are fully deserved and we have a very strong year group progressing to Sixth Form, joined by talented new pupils from other schools in September.”
