St Peter's 13-18
We are delighted to hear that Upper Sixth pupil Harrison has been offered a place at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London.
Harrison will join the undergraduate course at the Royal Academy of Music for the next academic year, specialising in voice.
Mr Paul Miles-Kingston, Director of Music at St Peter's 13-18, said: "This is a very competitive process with students applying from across the country, including a number from dedicated music schools. It is always a challenge for young singers in particular to gain a place and we are so proud that Harrison has impressed their staff and will be able to continue with his progress towards becoming a professional singer."
St Peter's School has a strong record of success with conservatoire places, with former pupils being accepted into the RAM, RCM, RNCM and Leeds Conservatoire in recent years.
Pupils also regularly go on to universities to study Music, with Old Peterites currently in the music departments at Cambridge, Durham and Royal Holloway, London.
