St Peter's 13-18
The St Peter’s community gathered last term via live-stream to celebrate the achievements and to mark the formal end of this academic year with the annual Commemoration and Prize Giving service.
The Commemoration service is a chance to celebrate our pupils and to reflect on everything that we have achieved and learnt over the last year. It is an important day for those leaving school but it also marks the formal conclusion of the year for the entire school community.
The service was led by our Chaplain Rev Daniel Jones. Commemoration included Addresses from the Head Master, the Heads of School, the Chairman of Governors and beautiful music from the Chapel Choir and the Chamber Choir.
This year, Mr Walker's Commemoration Address focused on the achievements of the year and the wide variety of activities that have taken place.
The Chaplain offered his heart-felt thanks for the foundation of St Peter’s School - from Alcuin to the present day. He thanked all the men and women who have sustained St Peter’s traditions.
A huge amount of work and planning has been put into Commemoration, thank you to everyone who made it happen - and to our incredible pupils, for everything they have achieved. Each and every one of our pupils have lived out the St Peter's School values this year whilst continuing to achieve and exceed their own expectations. We are so proud!
While it can’t be a substitute for being present in person, we hope you enjoyed the live event and we wish our St Peter's community a very happy and well-deserved break over the summer.
We would also like to extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to all parents, for their support and dedication.
