St Peter's 13-18
Friday 17 May | 7pm
The digital world is a present reality in the lives of young people with numerous positives to be found and pitfalls to overcome. With challenges like inappropriate sharing and the wrestle for good mental health constantly in the spotlight, we have invited Digital Awareness Co-founder, Charlotte Robertson back to St Peter's to lead an online safety workshop to help parents feel empowered when it comes to supporting their children in this space.
Charlotte will also be working with students at St Peter's to promote the safe and responsible use of technology. The workshop will cover the most popular apps and trends, critical issues to be aware of and steps to take to protect your child from online risk.
Digital Awareness UK, founded by Charlotte and her sister Emma, is a leading online safety organisation, with an innovative approach to tackling the most critical online safety challenges impacting young people today. Their team works in schools in the UK and internationally delivering inspiring talks that promote the positive and safe use of social media.
