St Peter’s School, founded in AD 627, is one of the oldest schools in the world. It occupies a 47-acre campus on the banks of the River Ouse, and lies within a short walk of the centre of the historic city of York.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate to join our Sports Department which has an outstanding reputation for its sports programme. Applicants will be experienced in rowing competitively and have the necessary skills and abilities to coach rowing.

To commence in September 2019, applicants should be considering a teaching or coaching career and possess a degree in Sports Science or other sports related course. No teaching qualification is required though the successful candidates will need to hold a relevant First Aid Qualification.

This is a full time, term time only role with a salary of £12,000p.a. In addition you will be offered free accommodation on site, food during term time, sports kit and parking on site. The post will initially be for one year, but could be extended for a further year for the right candidate.
