Support us

St Peter's is a thriving school, but with your help we can greatly increase the opportunities that we offer.  Our community benefits from a long-standing tradition of generosity, and by supporting us today, you can help us to continue that tradition for years to come.

There are numerous ways that you can support us.

Our fee assistance programme

St Peter’s is an inclusive school and our fee assistance programme allows us to offer places to children who would benefit from attending St Peter’s but whose parents cannot afford the fees. These pupils help to create a diverse community, creating a better learning environment for all.

There are numerous ways to help: many of our donors who wish to support fee assistance prefer to make a regular donation, and become members of our 627 Society; regular donations start at just £6.27 a month, and help us to secure ongoing financial support for deserving pupils.

Single donations are also extremely welcome.  You can give online, or you can donate by cheque.

Campus development

As we approach our 1400th anniversary, St Peter’s School is going from strength to strength.  The School is bigger than ever, and we cater for more children than ever before: we are celebrating forty years since the first girls entered St Peter’s, and children as young as two take their first steps in education with us.

This strength brings tremendous benefits for our community, but it has its challenges.  The School is rapidly outgrowing some of its current facilities, and others are reaching the end of their working life.  We need more classrooms, especially for Maths and Modern Foreign Languages; improved and extended sports facilities, including the Boathouse, sports hall, astroturf and cricket pavilion; investment in outdoor education; support for Sixth Form pupils; and appropriate facilities for music and drama.

Together, these facilities will revolutionise the pupil experience: every child, parent, Old Peterite and member of staff will have opportunities to benefit.

But we cannot do it without your help.  The first development for which we are fundraising is our proposed Boathouse – your support will not just bring the Boathouse in reach, but will bring our other projects a step closer.  Find out more about why the Boathouse matters, and how you can help.

Our commitment

We take our responsibilities as a charity extremely seriously.  You can read our Donor charter and fundraising guidelines online, or contact us if you have any questions.
