We believe that school days should be full of fun, adventure, challenge and new experiences, and this inspires our approach to education. St Peter's is a school where being engaged, happy and active is a way of life.
Welcome to St Peter's 2-8
We are proud to be fun, proud to be different, and proud to put the children at the heart of everything we do
Head of St Peter's 2-8
A sense of belonging, infinite opportunities and unlimited possibilities is what it feels like to be a child at St Peter’s 2-8. Our thematic approach fosters a culture of learning without limits, and the children are excited to come to school each day. Our children are happy, curious, motivated, bold and resilient, ready to take on the world as they progress to St Peter’s 8-13 for the next stage of their educational journey. The adventure has only just begun!
Our purpose here at St Peter's 8-13 is a bold one – we want to change the world by nurturing and inspiring every individual in our care
Head of St Peter's 8-13
A growth mindset is fundamental to life here at St Peter’s 8-13, creating a safe space where children can thrive, unlock their potential and dare to live each day to the full. Our children will grow up and move on to St Peter’s 13-18, before going out into the wider world. We want to inspire them to see that they can really make a difference in that world, with the skills they have developed during their time here. Together we help each other to be the best versions of ourselves.
Life at St Peter’s is busy, rewarding, and, most importantly, full of fun
Underpinning everything we do is the goal of preparing our pupils to be amazing adults, giving them a huge range of opportunities and making sure they enjoy every minute of their life at St Peter’s. Participation is encouraged at all levels and, with our boarding community being ever-present, this is a school where being engaged, happy and active is a way of life. The children find their own sense of independence as they progress through the school and leave St Peter’s confidently prepared for life and study beyond.
The St Peter’s School community is an extended family that includes all of our past pupils, parents and staff. Through our strong and active Old Peterite community, we build links between the generations and maintain a lifelong association with almost 5,000 Old Peterites, former pupils who live and work all over the world.
Our pupils develop independent thinking, a love of learning and intellectual curiosity in the classroom and beyond.
Our pupils develop key skills for life that will make them stand out in a fast-changing world.
We inspire children of all ages to try new things, establish lifelong interests and discover their passions.
Our aim is to develop rounded young men and women who value themselves, each other and the world around them.
