On Wednesday 22 June, Lower Sixth English pupils made the journey to London for a day of literary treats. We began the day looking at the treasures in the British Library and were amazed to see writing by Angela Carter, Shakespeare's First Folio, and even Magna Carta. We then travelled to The Globe and ate lunch at Borough Market before walking to the Old Vic for a fantastic performance of 'Jitney'. The pupils were excellent company and particularly loved the staging of the afternoon show.
