St Peter’s is a busy school combining nearly 1400 years of history with an innovative curriculum and masses of opportunities outside the classroom, designed to prepare our pupils to be confident, successful and fulfilled adults who make a positive impact on their world.
At St Peter’s Senior School you will find increasing areas of opportunity whether in the classroom, through academic extension or in the co-curricular programme. We want pupils to grasp every opportunity and the sheer breadth of activity across the school means that we operate on a full six day schedule - any less and there wouldn’t be time for all we do.
With our boarders living on-site, this is a school with a constant buzz, where being busy, happy and active is a way of life. The years you spend at Senior School are an incredibly rewarding time at school, as you start to develop particular interests and specialisms before stepping over the threshold into adult life and all that lies ahead.
Boarding
Being part of our boarding community allows pupils to dedicate more time to the things they love, putting them in the best position to take advantage of all St Peter’s School has to offer. We offer a range of junior and senior boarding options to suit the needs of our pupils and parents. Boarding is available for children from Year 7, and starts in our Co-ed House, The Manor.

Our 50 acres allows for a varied and exciting co-curricular programme, that we encourage all pupils to take full advantage of. Our six day week allows the time for you to select many options you might not have tried before all within the school day, which means our pupils leave school as well-rounded individuals with many skills and interests in addition to their excellent academics.
