****Event postponed to September 2024****
St Peter’s is proud of its long history of supporting charitable causes. This year alone we have seen cake sales, swim-a-thons, sleep outs and an epic run/cycle from Leeds to Edinburgh to name just a few of our pupil-led initiatives, which have raised thousands of pounds for good causes.
We would now like to bring back the tradition of a whole school fundraising day to mark the feast day of St Peter and to develop a sense of giving among pupils and fostering our sense of whole school community. Those of you with a long association with the school may remember this from the past.
On Friday 28 June we are asking all pupils and staff and OPs to raise money and participate in, or support, a number of activities. Most will be involved in a whole school sponsored walk, with distances and routes tailored for the different age groups from Selby, along the National Cycle Route back to school. Others in older year groups may prefer to swim (in the school pool), run or row.
Old Peterites are welcome to make a donation of their choosing here. All money raised will be split equally across the following organisations:
- The Island
- York Mind
- MND Association Rob Burrow Campaign
- My Name’5 Doddie Foundation
- St Peter’s School Keys for Life Bursary Campaign
If you would like to take part we would love to see you! Please complete the form below and we will get back to you with final plans closer to the day.
Thank you for your continued support!
[Old Peterite]
