It has been a joy to return to a live Christmas Concert this term. The Christmas Concert featured a wide range of music, from more traditional carols featured in the ‘Christmas Festival’ played by the Wind Band to seasonal favourites, such as ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ and ‘Santa Claus is coming to town’.
As always, there were an array of ensembles from the Wind and Swing Bands through to School Choir, Clarinet Choir, Little Big Band and both Girls’ and Boys’ Barbershops.
The concert is a truly special event for pupils to take part in and for parents to watch. A massive well done to everyone involved!
Although we were working with additional measures in place, such as reducing the audience numbers, splitting the School Choir over the two nights and spacing ensembles, the pupils had a really enjoyable time and brought some festive cheer!
