Chapel Choir sing Evensong at St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh

The Chapel Choir had a very successful visit to sing Evensong at St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh on Monday 28 February. We have not sung there for over twenty years and it was good to renew this connection. The choir produced a warm sound, with music by Ayleward, Walmisley and Edward Bairstow, a former organist of York Minster. Our sincere thanks to all the choir and the staff that supported them on the day, especially to Mr Wright for his accompanying in the service. The Provost and Sub-Provost were very positive about our singing and have asked us to return in the future.
