Critical Incidents

We use this page to keep you informed during any emergencies or critical incidents, such as severe weather, that are likely to have a significant affect on our day to day operations. Wherever possible we will also try to communicate via email, facebook and twitter.

School site closed to pupils

Following instructions from the government, the school site will be closed to pupils (apart from children of key workers) from the end of the day on Friday 20 March.

As ever, our priority is to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all members of the school community and to ensure continuity of education for our pupils. All pupils will continue their education through remote learning, with regular access to teachers and resources.

We will continue to communicate with all members of the school community during this time so that all feel engaged and part of the school despite such unusual circumstances. We will also be sharing positive messages of support on our website and social media channels, including mindfulness tips and addresses from the School Chaplain.

This page will be updated as the situation develops.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to all staff at St Peter’s 3-18, including teachers, administration staff and support staff, who have continued to inspire and reassure pupils whilst preparing for remote teaching and learning.  At times like these, we are reminded of the strength of our school community and the importance of our school values including friendship, compassion and hope.
