Welcome for 'New' Old Peterites

DJI 0022

We are delighted to welcome you to the Old Peterite community. You have now joined a community of over 5,000 Old Peterites all over the world from Australia to Zambia, though the majority are in York.

Sharing an email address with us is the best way to stay in touch. Even if your address changes in the coming years, we can keep you up to date with details of events and news from the School. If you haven’t already done so, complete our keeping in touch form here - without your permission we won’t be able to contact you.

We have a number of webpages dedicated to the Old Peterite Community where you can find information about the Old Peterite community and who to contact! You can visit our main page here.

We want to hear your progress and how you get on in your next steps after St Peter’s. If you choose, we can feature those updates in the Old Peterite News section of the website and in our Cross Keys magazine. We always enjoy being able to celebrate the achievements of the OP Community. It is a wonderfully welcoming community and one we are very proud of.

The majority of our communications are sent by email and we will also send the Cross Keys magazine to the Old Peterite Community once a year- the magazine has everything from news from the School to details of our Old Peterite events, even an OP Crossword. If you haven’t yet seen our bumper edition of the magazine, you can read it here.

Details of all our events are also displayed all year round on the website here.

We are sure you will join us in thanking all the Old Peterite volunteers who in recent weeks have helped to provide advice on next steps after St Peter’s - universities, gap years or entering employment. We hope you found these sessions useful and we wouldn’t be able to offer these sessions without the generosity of our recent leavers. We would be delighted if you would consider doing the same in years to come, to help us share the wealth of knowledge and expertise from across the OP network.

If you’d like any mementos of your time at School, you can view our Old Peterite merchandise collection here. You can make any purchases by completing our merchandise form or contacting Sue Jenks, Alumni and Development Officer, who is always on hand to help.

If you haven’t already done so you can follow us on Facebook @StPetersOPs. Make sure you search on Facebook Profile Frames for ‘Old Peterite Class of 2020’.

You will also find us on Twitter @Old Peterite and Instagram @OldPeterites.

Don’t miss the opportunity to access our very special video. We will be sending everyone who has shared their email address a link to welcome you all to the Old Peterite Community.

We can’t wait to see you at one of our Old Peterite events and hope this will be in the not too distant future!

Congratulations to the Class of 2020! All the best for the future, please don’t forget about St Peter’s School, make sure you come back and visit us at one of our Old Peterite events and stay in touch. Good luck!

On behalf of OP Cricket we wish all leavers all the best in the future, especially in what has been a crazy year so far. Please carry on playing cricket for as long as possible and join the OP cricket group.
