In response to the global coronavirus outbreak, St Peter’s School, York has implemented a strict visitor policy to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the whole school community. Following instructions from the government, the school site will be closed to pupils (apart from children of key workers) from the end of the day on Friday 20 March with no indication given of when that situation will change. We ask that all non-essential visitors also stay away from the school at this time. If your visit is essential, please read our visitor policy before you visit the school.

Thank You

Thank You

On Sunday 19 May 2019 Jeremy Walker, Head Master, hosted the first Donors’ Garden Party, to thank our supporters from across the School community.

Guests enjoyed a selection of canapés and drinks on the Music School lawn and were treated to a musical performance from the School’s saxophone quartet. There was the opportunity to speak to pupils from the Lower Sixth Form and a wonderful variety of pupils’ artwork on display.

Jeremy Walker thanked everyone, from Old Peterites to current and former parents and staff, for their continued support of St Peter’s. Especially for the support given to the Boat House Appeal from those who have chosen to sponsor-a-brick and the support given to Help with Fees, bursaries which enable those who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to attend St Peter’s.

We hope this will become a regular event in the school calendar. Thank you to everyone who has supported St Peter’s School.
