Chairman of Governors' Address

St Peter's 13-18

Chairman of Governors' Address

Thank you to Mr Bill Woolley, Chairman of Governors, for recording this special Address on behalf of the St Peter's School Governors.

It has been an unusual year which began with a number of successes, including the opening of the 2-8 Dining Hall, the completion of the Boat House, and the completion of the multi-use games area.

Covid-19 has created unexpected challenges for the School, and Mr Woolley reflects on the financial impact of the pandemic whilst applauding our teaching staff for the amazing remote teaching programme which has ensured educational continuity for our pupils.

Mr Woolley also thanks all parents on behalf of the governors for trusting us to continue with the education of their children, therefore enabling us to move to the autumn term and onto the future of this great School with absolute confidence.

On behalf of the governors, Mr Woolley extends his thanks to all support staff and teaching staff and wishes a fond farewell to Rev'd Canon Dr Christopher Collingwood who is leaving the Board of Governors this year.
