Head's welcome

St Peter's 2-8

Head's welcome

Phil HardyProud to be fun! Proud to be different, and proud to put the children at the centre of all we do in School.

Welcome to St Peter's 2-8. I do hope you enjoy our website and looking at the fabulous opportunities available to our children.

St Peter's has a fun, happy and vibrant atmosphere where our children thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment. We teach the ‘whole child’ through a thematic approach, ensuring they have a genuine thirst and love of learning. Children who leave St Peter's 2-8 are rounded individuals who are well prepared for an exciting future on the next stage of their educational journey.

We have a stimulating setting and environment, small class sizes, individual pupil attention and iPads and PCs in every classroom. Close contact between home and School, quality teaching by inspirational teaching staff, exciting, adventurous trips and after school activities enable us to develop well rounded children.

We value the traditions of the past whilst being a forward thinking school. Our school motto, “Over Ancient Paths”, reminds us to learn from our history and cherish those traditions that strengthen us, without ever losing sight of the journey ahead of us.

Our pupils benefit enormously from a coherent education between the ages of 2-18 with a smooth transition between the three schools of St Peter's.

I would be delighted to show you round our School to give you the opportunity to see for yourself how we provide the best possible start to your child’s education.
