Ways to give

We're delighted that you are considering supporting us.  Donations come in all shapes and sizes, and there's a way of giving to suit everyone.  However you choose to give, your donation will make a difference.

Regular giving

You can spread the cost of any donation by making monthly or annual gifts by direct debit.  Regular giving starts at  £6.27 per month – at present, five pupils are being directly supported by regular gifts from Donors to the 627 Society, and your support will help us to extend that further.

You can donate by completing and returning this donation form, or give securely online using CAF Donate from our appeal pages or using the links below.

Online giving

You can make an online donation to us immediately using our secure donation form provided by CAF Donate below or from the link on our appeal page.

Leave us a Legacy

After your family and friends have been taken care of, a legacy is an opportunity to give your support to causes you care about. There can be tax benefits to leaving a legacy.

Please contact Philippa Dunford-Jeffs for more information.

Major gifts

If you wish to make a major gift to our fee assistance campaign, or to campus development, or would like to discuss other opportunities for supporting the School with larger donations, please contact us so that we can discuss the options available.

Every donation that we receive is used in accordance with the wishes of the donor.  For example, donations for fee assistance will only ever be used for that purpose. You can read our donor charter here.

If you have any questions about  supporting us, or to discuss opportunities for major gifts, please do not hesitate to contact Philippa Dunford-Jeffs on 01904 527 363.

Tax Efficient Giving from the USA

The British Schools and Universities Foundations (BSUF) has been set up to enable tax efficient giving from the USA.

To make a gift and take a U.S. income tax deduction, you may make a donation to the British Schools & Universities Foundation (Federal Tax ID 13-616-1189), a charitable organization approved by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service under code Section 501(c)(3). Write your check to the order of the British Schools & Universities Foundation.

You should express a preference for St Peter's School in your transmittal letter, not on your check. Such preferences are respected by the Foundation but all grants are made at its sole discretion, as required by the IRS.

For more information and to donate online you can visit the BSUF website, please specify 'St Peter's School, York' when asked for an 'Approved Institution'.

Or you can download and complete the Donor Transmittal Form. This can be sent directly to BSUF, returned to St Peter's School, or sent via our US Old Peterite representative, James Curley

If you have any questions about giving from the USA or your donation, please contact Philippa Dunford-Jeffs.

Thank you for your support
