Dyslexia Awareness Week

Last week during the 8-13 whole school assembly, four dyslexia advocates from J4 gave a presentation to celebrate dyslexia and commemorate Dyslexia Awareness Week. Each pupil bravely shared their own challenges, such as organisation, following instructions, information processing, spelling and maths and also described their many strengths.

They each discussed a highly successful dyslexic adults from varying walks of life and made everyone more aware that we are all the same but different, and differences are absolutely okay. There is also a display in the 8-13 foyer for the occasion.
