This week, alongside ISCC, the catering team had the pleasure of hosting a special Nutrition & Hydration boarders’ dinner. The evening focused on creating nutritionally balanced meals in a fun, interactive way.
Students designed their own performance bowls, starting with a choice of protein and complex carbohydrate. Students were then invited to personalise their bowls with beans, fermented tomatoes, avocado, mackerel pâté, fresh vegetables, and combination salads amongst other toppings.
The hydration station offered gut-friendly drinks including kombucha and kefir, alongside high-water fruits, herbal teas, and refreshing gazpacho. Dessert was a creamy avocado and chocolate mousse, finishing the meal on a deliciously healthy note.

Health Habits cards were placed on the desks, and information about the nutritional benefits of the dinner items was available at the service area, giving students practical tips to support healthy choices.
It was wonderful to see students experimenting with flavours and the feedback from the students was highly complementary.
