St Peter's Sports Coach Selected for England U18 Six Nations Coaching Position

St Peter's would like to congratulate Head of Hockey, Lucy Horsfield, who was recently invited to cover the England U18 Assistant Coach Apprentice role for the Six Nations Tournament during the Easter Holidays. This involved her being a fully integrated member of the coaching team during a residential camp at Tonbridge School, where she supported both preparation and match play against Scotland (friendly), Wales U21, and Holland U18.

England secured one win in the group stages before losing to a well‑drilled Dutch side, which led to a bronze medal match against the USA. Trailing by a goal at half time, Lucy said it was a privilege to witness the players demonstrate exceptional resilience, skill, and determination to turn the game around and secure a 2–1 victory.

Lucy is very much looking forward to rejoining the squad later in May for a further training opportunity,
