We are thrilled to celebrate the amazing football success of St Peter's pupil, Tom. Tom has been playing for Middlesbrough FC since the age of 12, while managing to balance both his passion for football and his schoolwork.
Recently, Tom competed in a prestigious national tournament at Loughborough University, where 28 teams from Premier League and Category 1 academies took part. Tom played every single minute of every game for Middlesbrough, and after a tense final match against Norwich City, Middlesbrough took home the trophy after a nail-biting penalty shootout.
Tom's hard work and dedication are paying off, and we’re all keeping our fingers crossed as he awaits news about a potential scholarship with Middlesbrough FC, which he will hear about in November. We’re incredibly proud of Tom and have no doubt that he has a bright future in football ahead! Well done, Tom!
