St Peter’s Combined Cadet Force have continued to meet weekly over Zoom during lockdown.
In addition to short lessons on military topics, cadets have been encouraged to take part in the weekly Contingent Challenge, which usually takes the form of a military themed puzzle to solve.
A recent session on how to ‘bull’ boots saw some of the cadets produce excellent results, following a virtual demonstration by CCF Staff Instructor Captain Smith.
CCF Contingent Commander Sally Anne-Sleigh said:
Camaraderie is an important element of CCF and our weekly meetings over Zoom are a vital point of contact for our pupils.
A special thank you goes to our cadets from overseas, some of whom have been joining us live very late at night from their home countries. We admire their dedication!
