Today we welcomed Professor Banda from Edinburgh University to St Peter's School for a special talk about how sport can facilitate social change.
Professor Banda spoke to a group of Lower Sixth A Level pupils who are studying Physical Education at St Peter's, and the pupils also connected with Nasser Al Khori who joined the talk via Zoom.
Nasser is Programme Director of Generation Amazing, a sport for social good programme of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy of the FIFA Qatar World Cup 2022. Nasser explained the vision of Generation Amazing, a social and human legacy initiative which seeks to inspire positive social change in Qatar and globally through football.
